December Already....

I can not believe how fast this year has flown by! Not only that my babies are growing up way to fast! This year has been amazing for the Fisher's.

We made a day trip to San Fransisco this year which was my first time ever being there! I know I have lived in Clovis/Fresno most of my life and have never been to San Fransisco! lol It is an amazing city! I can't wait to go back again. We had lunch at Bubba Gumps and just walked around. With having two strollers it makes it hard to go into stores so we window shop. Joeys prefers it since it saves him money. I would love to go back and check out the aquarium with the girls. Of course on the way home we had to stop off at the Bass Pro Shop! Joey was in heaven! That store has anything and everything you could possibly want for outdoor activities. Kayeleigh was in awe by all the animals and fish they have around.

Kayeleigh turned two this year and instead of having a birthday party we went to Monterey. We spent the day at the Aquarium had Bubba Gumps for lunch and finished off the day with ghirardelli ice cream YUM! We all had a blast! Grandma and Bood went with us which made it that much more special! We also stopped off at Casa De Fruta on our way home so grandma could buy some fruit for work and let Kayeleigh play on the trains.

The reason we didn't have a party was due to the fact that we where living with my mom at the time. The house we were renting was sold before our lease was up and put us in a situation of not wanting to rent again and start the house buying process. So that is just what we did! We bought our first home on September 7. Just in time to celebrate the twins first birthday! One week after moving in we had 30 of our closes friends and family over to celebrate our babies birthdays. We did a Thing 1 and Thing 2 themed party that turned out adorable! Can you believe it they are 1 years old already!

The house we bought is a work in progress. It was built in 1985 and just needs to be updated and made our own. The very first thing we had to do right away was put a gate up in the backyard for the pool. We also painted Kayeleigh's room right away due to her bed being so big and not wanting to move it again. The project list is very long and will take sometime but that's okay, IT'S OURS! The major project that I want to do is completely remodel the kitchen and put new flooring in the whole house. Joey and Les have completely redone the garage with new texture on the walls, new paint on the floor, and Joey's dad is building him new cabinets that will be installed this weekend. Les re textured the living room walls and we will be painting them on Sunday. My mom and Les have been such a HUGE help with everything I don't know what we would do without them.

The girls went Trick or Treating for the first time this year. Well Kayeleigh did the twins didn't actually go to the doors. We went with my best friends family around their neighborhood. Kayeleigh had a blast once she figured out she was getting candy. Kayeleigh was dressed up as Minnie Mouse and Kynleigh and Kynsingtan where little pumpkins.

For Thanksgiving this year we actually celebrated with my best friends Lacie and her family. My mom and Les spent the day with my grandma and grandpa. He has been diagnosed with cancer and their house is not kid friendly at all. I'm really glad my mom and Les got to spend the day with them and put a smile of my grandparents face.

Now here we are getting ready for Christmas yikes....we have most of our shopping done already just need a few little things. We are actually having Christmas at our house this year. Our Christmas actually starts on the Saturday before with my grandpa and dad's side of the family. The Sunday will be with Joey's dad and step mom. Christmas Eve will be with my dad and his family. Then Christmas day will be with my mom, Les, sister, Gene, and my nephews. I absolutely love this time of year. I love decorating the house and spending time with the family.

This last year has been amazing for us and I really can't wait to see what 2013 has for us! Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
