And now we are 5!

On September 15 @ 4:17am and 4:22am we welcomed out Twin girls Kynleigh Joelle and Kynsingtan Rose. I had a c section scheduled on the 16 but boy did the girls have a different idea. At 2:00am on the 15 I woke with what I though was bad gas and being pregnant that isn't anything unusual. At about 2:45 I woke Joey up telling him I think I'm in labor. We called the Dr and he told us to get our butt to the hospital. I called my mom and woke her up so we could take Kayeleigh over to her. But first I wanted to take a shower before we left. we got to the hospital at about 3:50am and u have to check in at the er when it's after hours. There was no one at the desk to check us in by this time I knew we where having these babies today. I finally told the lady we can't wait any longer I need to push. They took my to the er and striped my pants off to find Kynleigh was crowning already. They rush me up to labor and delivery to find that baby a was coming. They left me on the er bed and we had baby a at 4:17am. They told me not to push after she was born they where afraid that baby b was going to flip. I looked at the nurse and told her I have to push she looked noticed baby's head and told me to go for it. At 4:22 baby b was born. My poor husband missed everything. They wouldn't let him in the room because there was new room with having 2 beds and 2 warmers plus all the nurses. My Dr even missed the births he showed up just in time to deliver my placenta and stitch me up. Needless to say no c section and 2 very healthy baby girls. Kynleigh Joelle weighted 6lbs 8oz 18 3/4 in long. Kynsingtan Rose was 5lbs 11oz 18 1/4in long. Here are some pictures!

Amazing!

Life is just that amazing! A lot has happen since my last post. We had Kayeleigh's first birthday party with about 30 of our closes friends and family. She had a blast! We did a ladybug theme party and had live ladybugs on the tables. The kids got a kick out of it! Here are a few pictures from her very special day!

On August 21 @ 9:57 am my second nephew was born! Gage Elliott Griffin 7.1lbs 20in My mom, Kayeleigh, and I had went to the coast for the weekend and decided to drive a separate car just in case and good thing we did. My sister called my mom at about 10:30 Saturday night saying her water broke. My mom and I waffled driving home since it is a 2 1/2 hour drive. Well I just knew we wouldn't get any sleep and I had fallen asleep with Kayeleigh at about 8 so I had a few hours of sleep plus with the excitement I knew I could make the drive home safely. We just the coast at midnight getting home about 2:30am and got to the hospital at about 3;00am. We both needed showers before going to the hospital. At about 5:00am I told my mom we should go home and get some sleep since she was progressing pretty slow. At 7:30 we got the call that she was at 8 centimeters so we rushed back. At 9:57am Gage was born and mom and I where able to be in the room with my sister. It is such an amazing experience! Here are some pictures!

On September 3 Les who is my moms partner celebrated his 60th birthday. So mom and I decided to throw him a surprise party. On the 4 we went to our favorite Thai restaurant Keothip like we do most Sunday night for dinner but this time we invited 30 of his closes friends and family. He was completely surprised! It was a perfect day! I really wish I had the camera to get his face when he walked into the door it was priceless!

Almost 1st birthday!

I can't believe in less than 2 weeks Kayeleigh will be a year old! I am loving every minute of being a mommy and watching her grow, learn, and develop. She is an awesome little girl! We are planning a ladybug party for her first birthday. I now have about 8 weeks left before the twins will be here and I'm trying to just enjoy Kayeleigh as much as possible.

On July 10 my mom threw my sister and I a joint Ba By Q (BBQ). It was a really great turn out and are very lucky to have so much love an support from our family and friends! Here are a few pictures.

On July 17 a friend from 3rd grade and her mom and sister threw me another baby shower! It was super adorable! She did a two pink eggs in a birds nest theme that turned out gorgeous! As soon as I get some pictures from the day I will post them. Life right now is amazing!

Busy Busy

Seems like life is just flying by! I can't believe Kayeleigh is 9 months old and I am 5 months pregnant with identical twin girls!

Kayeleigh has hit a lot of milestones these past few months! She is waving bye bye, shaking her head no no, clapping, saying ma ma, ba ba, and other little sayings, and she has also started walking...yikes! We also celebrated her first Easter and she loved the plastic Easter eggs! The Easter bunny and grandma spoiled her rotten!

I have been super busy with doctor appointments for the babies. I have been having ultrasounds every 2 weeks with cervix checks every 2 weeks as well. These babies aren't even here yet and they are keeping me busy lol We are naming them Kynleigh Joelle and Kynsingtan Rose! Thank goodness for my sister and my mom right now. The high risk doctors office doesn't allow children so my sister and nephew have been coming over to watch Kayeleigh and my mom has been going to my appointments with me. The babies are now weighing close to the same weight so there is no longer any concern with baby b. Again thank goodness! Now I will be going monthly for ultrasounds and still every 2 weeks for cervix checks until I hit the 26 week mark or third trimester.

Life is great and busy! I love being a wife and mommy!

High risk doctor appointment

We had our first appointment yesterday with the high risk doctor. My ultrasound lasted about 2 hours and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. The pictures of the babies are so clear compared to the ultrasounds we had with Kayeleigh. There is concern with baby b due to her not measuring the same as baby a. So they are going to monitor me really close to make sure she catches up. Oh forgot to mention....We are having IDENTICAL TWIN GIRLS!!! Poor Joey! He is way out numbered now! I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for a weight check for the babies and then I have an ultrasound scheduled every week for the next 3 weeks after.
The doctor came in after and told us that identical babies usually have a lot of complications and I will not carry them full term. It made me a little nervous and I really hope everything is ok. I just keep telling myself what's meant to be will be. Here are some of the ultrasound pictures!

High risk Dr.

Tomorrow is our first appointment with the high risk doctor. I am not having any problems I guess it's just standard to be high risk when your carrying multiples. Joey is getting work off early so he can go with me and so is my mom. My sister will be watching Kayeleigh for the first time. I really hope it goes well! They don't allow children at the doctors office due to it being a high risk office. I will update my post tomorrow after the appointment. I really hope they can tell the sex of the babies at this appointment but since I will only be 16 weeks along I'm not sure if the babies are to small still. Update tomorrow!

Came home and pretty much passed out lol it was a warm day. Here are some pictures of our fun filled day!

8 months old!

Kayeleigh is now 8 months old! Wow has that gone fast! She is growing and changing so much! She has crawling down and is very fast at getting around. She is now pulling herself up on everything. She is very ready to walk. I am not rushing that!
We are still breastfeeding and she is loving trying new foods that mommy and daddy are eat! She no longer wants baby food she wants what we are eating.
She has started to wave bye bye now! She is not really understanding what she is doing and why we are laughing when she does it because it is so cute but we are still practicing.
The weather is finally starting to get nice so we are planning a trip to the zoo with Auntie Crystal and Lelend. Will post pictures as soon as we make that trip!

TWINS!
I have my next doctors appointment is on Monday and we will find out when my ultrasound will be to find out the sex of these babies! I have been feeling good just really tired. Sleeping is becoming uncomfortable already! My hips and back hurts anyway I try and get comfortable. Boy this is going to make for a long pregnancy! We are really hoping that we are having 2 boys or one of each! The names we have picked out so far are....Jaxxon Everett and Emerson Joseph for boys and girls Kynsleigh and Kennedy Rose or Ryleigh. We are still unsure on the girls name! Really hope we don't need them lol Once I go to my appointment I will update.

Baby #2

We are expecting baby #2!! We haven't shared with most of the family yet so anyone that reads this please don't post anything on my Facebook. Our due date is September 27. I am very nervous about having 2 babies 14 months apart. Our first Dr's. appointment is on February 10 @ 10:30. Joey and I just decided to let nature happen and we would get pregnant when it was meant to be....Well I really didn't thing it would happen the very first month. After 4 years of trying having gastric bypass apparently I am very fertile lol.

We have a trip planned to Arkansas November 9 through the 15 to visit Joey's dad's side of the family. I have only meet his grandparents so it will be very nice to meet everyone else. Oh did I mention the baby will only be about 6 to 8 weeks old. Can you say scary? Traveling with a 14 month old and a brand new baby. Eek!! Good thing we are flying and not driving like Joey's dad likes to do. I don't think I could handle being in a car for 3 days.

Oh the good news get even better my sister is pregnant too!! We are a month apart! Again no one knows so please don't post on hers or my Facebook.

Life is amazing! I can't wait to see what the future holds for us and to watch our little family grow!

Tooth #2

Tooth # 2 came through on January 27. I can't believe how fast she is changing and growing up. On the 28 she turned 6 months old. Where has the time gone...I absolutely love being a mom and being able to stay home with her. We got for her 6 month check up and shots tomorrow February 1. I am going to find out if we can start using sippy cups, giving her water, and all the stuff she can eat now. I will update tomorrow with all her status.

Coast

This past weekend Kayeleigh and I went to the coast with my mom, Les, and Lelend. Joey threw Stuart's bachelor party at our house so I decided to just go away for the weekend. My sister, Gene, and Joey came over on Saturday. We had a blast! I wasn't sure how Kayeleigh would do on a 3 hour car ride but she did great. About 15 minutes outside of Morro Bay she started getting a little crabby but she just wanted out of her car seat which I can't blame her. 3 hours in one of those is a long time.
On Friday we got to the park about 12:30 and got the trailer set up then mom, Kayeleigh, and I went to the grocery store to get everything we needed for the weekend. When we got back we picked up the boys and went to Pismo so I could get a birthday gift at the outlets. By the time we got back to the trailer Kayeleigh and I started making dinner and mom, Les, and Lelend went down to the beach to watch the sunset.
Saturday morning we got up made breakfast and just hung out around the trailer for while. Mom, Lelend, Kayeleigh, and I went for a walk to see if Ken and Debbie had made it and since we knew the fog was really bad around home. After we visit them for a few minutes we walked back to the trailer and Crystal and Gene showed up. They all went to the beach and Kayeleigh and I stayed so she could take a nap. Ken and Debbie came over to our trailer and we all went to dinner at the Dockside. There food is so yummy!! Joey showed up about 6:00 and we went over to Ken and Debbie's trailer for a camp fire. Kayeleigh was ready for bed so we went back to the trailer and just got her and Joey ready for bed. All in all it was a very nice weekend. I can't wait to go back next month with Mark and Darla!

Baby Food

So trying baby food has been a great experience. She hasn't been very picky with trying new things. She now doesn't want to eat her rice cereal. I can't blame her she wants the good stuff. lol I have tried mixing it with the food and she still won't eat it. So far the only one she hasn't cared for much is peas. I can't blame her there that stuff smells nasty! We just tried peaches for the first time and she loved them! I really can't wait to start making her food and trying more new things with her!

5 months

Kayeleigh Bug is now 5 months old and I am not sure where the time has gone! She is such a blast having around! We are now having rice cereal and starting to eat baby food. We try a different one every 3 days. She is also sitting up by herself and wanting to walk. I hope she isn't like her mom and skips the crawling part! Her daddy taught her how to spit when she makes blowing noises. Thank you daddy!

Once she turns 6 months old I will start making my own baby food since she will be eating 3 times a day. as of right now she loves, sweet potatoes, squash, pears, & bananas. She isn't so much into the applesauce or peas. Since we started with baby foods she is boycotting her rice cereal. I am going to try oatmeal in a few days to see if she like that. I think it's the texture she isn't sure about.

I just ordered a cookbook from Williams Sonoma on how to make your own baby food. The books goes by how old baby is and which foods are recommend for her age. I can't wait to get it and try some with her!

Delivery!

From day one of finding out I was pregnant I said I wanted to have a natural no drugs birth. I was set that's how I was going to do it!
On July 24 @ 1:30am I started having contractions that where 2-3 mins apart but not painful. I woke Joey up and told him what I was feeling and he said lets go to the hospital. I got in the shower took my time to see if the contractions would get stronger. I got out of the shower and we where off to the hospital. They checked me in and put the monitors on me and said that I was in active labor. After 2 hours of monitoring and be checked they sent me home. My contractions stopped and I was only 2 centimeters dilated. All weekend long I was having contractions but nothing consistent and nothing painful. Tuesday night around 11:00pm my contractions started up again but this time with some discomfort. Nothing to painful just a little strong then they had been. Again I woke Joey up and got in the shower. Around 1:00am we made it to the hospital with full on contractions with pain. They hooked me up to monitors and again said I was in active labor but I wasn't dilated to a 4 yet. They had me wake for an hour to see if it would be progress me. After that hour they checked me again and said I was at a 4 and my bag was bulging so they admitted me.
At around 8:30am my contractions where so painful I started hyperventilating and could not catch my breath. Joey asked me if I wanted to get the epidural. I thought about it and decided I would so I could enjoy my delivery. After having the epidural done it was like a new world. I could actual have a conversation and just enjoy the moment. My nurse Susan was amazing! She came on her shift at 7:00am and told me I would have my baby by 2:00pm that afternoon. I looked at her like she was crazy but I was game to be Kayeleigh out by 2. She was very attentive to me anytime she would see my contractions slowing down she would up my pitocin and keep me progressing nicely. At around 1:30pm she came in to check me and said I was fully dilated. It was time to push! At 1:59pm Kayeleigh Hazel Fisher was born weight 7lbs 3oz 21inches long! She was absolutely beautiful!
